The Griffin Pub has been welcoming visitors since the 1600s, as it was originally a coaching house called 'The Magpie'.

The atmosphere in the pub is never less than friendly and welcoming. We serve a range of cask ales and have been recommended by CAMRA for the quality of our ales.

The Griffin also offers regular entertainment, including a weekly quiz night with cash prizes and the chance of winning a three course meal for two in our Restaurant.

We also have a full bar menu with a delicious selection to choose from.
